The DXE is a tension meter manufactured by Schmidt. It is suitable for use in textile or wire industries involving thin wires.

The unit features a small measuring head suitable for areas with limited space, or where filaments run close together. It ensures easy threading through the turned-up outer finger edges. The meter has guide rollers with a speed of 2000 m/min. It comes with 6 tension ranges from 10 to 50 cN, and 200 to 2000 cN.

The DXE offers a continuous tension measurement through fixed installation using the built-in mounting holes. It is equipped with an analog display that shows fast varying tensions, and allows optimal process adjustment.
